Sandro LaRocca, MD, FAAOS, attended The Jefferson Medical College of the Thomas Jefferson University, now the Sidney Kimmel Medical College, in Philadelphia, PA, and received his medical degree in 1995. Furthermore, he conducted his orthopedic surgery residency at The Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA (1995-2000). His orthopedic surgery residency entailed specialized training in pediatric scoliosis at the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia, PA.  In addition, Dr. LaRocca completed his fellowship training in complex spinal reconstruction and clinical management of disorders of the neck and back at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA (2000-2001). Dr. LaRocca received board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. LaRocca is an active member of the North American Spine Society, the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, the New Jersey Spine Society, the American Medical Association, and the New Jersey Doctor Patient Alliance.
